Its amazing how much I hear babbling’s about current times being the end times. If more people would read their bibles and ask the schoolers and elders about this they wouldn’t be digging foxholes in their basements currently.
Its not the end.. well not yet anyhow. But if its looking like it and your all confused then Satan is doing a great job on your head! The bottom line is No. its not the “end” yet. There is a lot that has to happen first and there is an order in which it will occur. What is likely happening today is the spirit of confusion taking hold so that when the real end time signs and wonders begin to happen pointing to the correct road to the end times you will be so screwed up that you’ll never see it.
Jesus tells us in the bible to always be on guard, he will come like a thief in the night. Our job is to be ready!
There is going to be a lot that will happen and if you read your bible you will see where we are in the times. Currently, today we are probably living Matthew 24. This is where the disciples came to Jesus and asked what will be the sign of the end times and he says …
Jesus answered: “Watch out that no one deceives you. For many will come in my name, claiming, ‘I am the Messiah,’ and will deceive many. You will hear of wars and rumors of wars, but see to it that you are not alarmed. Such things must happen, but the end is still to come. Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be famines and earthquakes in various places. All these are the beginning of birth pains. ~ Matthew 24:4-8
Read further and the bible starts to talk about other key factors such as the rapture prophecy. And then we start to delve into the tribulation prophecy and then more war then famine, pestilence and drought. a little more war then once the devil is evicted from the earth, the Judgement and then eternal life for those who have stayed true to the end.
You can quite literally watch what is happening in Israel to get a better picture of what and where we are in the prophetic timeline. Everything is based on Israel. This is the chosen nation and people of God.
The third temple has not been constructed as of 2024. There have been rumors that the stones have been cut for it and the sacrificial oxen has been shipped to the country. But the actual construction has not begun. Under Netanyahu its likely to not get approval for construction anytime soon.
The Battle of Armageddon cannot happen until the battle of Gog and Magog. That battle hasn’t happened yet either but, could be something that does happen in the next 10 years. This is when Israel, during peace and safety is attacked by seven armies all at once and from all sides. The war is so fierce that Israel is brought to its knees as fast as the US strike on Baghdad. It will be shock and awe and it will appear Israel is completely wiped out when suddenly, God intervenes and destroys Israel’s enemies and lifts the nation up. Then God comes to earth for the final battle with the beast, That is the Battle of Armageddon – The last war, the war to end all wars!
Prior to the Gog & Magog war it is believed that the Christians of the day will be raptured and not have to suffer through these times. But, Rapture Prophecy isn’t 100 percent clear when it will actually happen. Biblical scholars are still debating the timeline on that and there are those who don’t believe in it at all.
There are many who believe the times that Israel is experiencing before the Gog and Magog war are in deed the 3 and a half years of peace before the beast breaks its treaty with Israel invoking the Great Tribulation.
Are we actually in the end times today? I have to say no, but with caution. Are we in the birth pains that mark the start of the end times, I would have to say yes. I would also have to say buckle up, its going to be a very bumpy ride. But ultimately, Jesus says those who are in Christ have nothing to fear. Those who are not should really ask themselves if the road they are on is the way they want to go. If it isn’t, there is another road, that road is in Jesus Christ and that road leads to the forgiveness of sin and eternal life.
