With all that is happening in the world today, and as fast as things are evolving many are asking “Are we in the end times”. I have even asked this. Jesus tells us to be on watch always. And if we are truly watching, current events would really get our heartbeat jacked up.
However, there are key event’s that must take place before the Great Tribulation, the return of Jesus Christ and the final judgement. And some of these have not happened yet.
10 And then many will be offended, will betray one another, and will hate one another. 11 Then many false prophets will rise up and deceive many. 12 And because lawlessness will abound, the love of many will grow cold.

Many are being deceived today however. If you plug into Youtube anything about the Third Temple in Israel all kinds of information returns, both good and bad. But one of the KEY things that warns us of the imminent coming of Christ is the construction of the Third Temple. Once built the Antichrist will make a pact with Israel offering peace which will last about 3 and a half years the followed by another three and a half years of really bad, nasty, evil times as the beast breaks the treaty. (Daniel 9:27)And that leads into the battle of Armageddon which ends in the Judgement.
So has Israel begun construction on the Third Temple? In current times (and the writing of this article) the Third Temple has not been built. But, steps are in motion to assist in its construction once it becomes Green Lit by Jerusalem and Israel. The Government of Israel has not given its approval yet for many obvious reasons. One is the stability and security of the Nation. Israel knows all too well the bloodshed and wars that will be started over this temple. Even non-Christian believing Muslims know the temple marks the return of Christ and they don’t want anything to do with that. Israel may have it tough currently fighting their enemies now, but once the temple is risen, the violence will explode dramatically.
Now, something to watch is the Saudi/Israel peace treaty being brokered currently on the world’s stage which also involves Iran and their progression to becoming a Nuclear Nation.
6 You will hear of wars and rumors of wars, but see to it that you are not alarmed. Such things must happen, but the end is still to come. 7 Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be famines and earthquakes in various places. 8 All these are the beginning of birth pains.

Wars and Rumors of Wars. This could be based around conflict in the Middle East with the rise of Nuclear Nations and peace keeping nations such as Great Brittan and the EU countries. Remember this, almost ALL bible prophecy is based on the Holy Land. However, countries like the US, the UK and others may have places on the stage attributing to events. Never rule out what is happening locally.
The Famines and Earthquakes discussed in Matthew 24:7 could indicate the progression of climate change. In 2023 there have been Two major earthquakes killing thousands in the Holy Land Region. The Turkey-Syria earthquakes were a 6.3 and a 7.8. The Morocco earthquake a 6.8 and an Afghanistan earthquake with a magnitude 6.5. The Russia/Ukraine war continues and the US involvement is getting less and less popular each day with our own nation spending trillions on Ukraine and very little on us. Now topple that with the ever growing threat from China and North Korea and it’s almost safe to say Wars and Rumors of Wars have also entered the stage.
The next things to watch for will be Famines which could be a direct result of climate change or an indirect result of war considering North America gets most of its wheat and other grains from Ukraine and Russia. Our Rice comes mostly from China even though in the US it’s our fourth largest industry. In fact the majority of our rice and soy come from Southeast Asia though we have the capability to produce it right here. We don’t due to cost and labor issues. So if war breaks out with China, North America and the world could see a significant reduction in Rice, Soy, Wheat and other grains thus contributing to Famine.
When these things begin to gain more stability along with everything developing in the Holy Land and especially with Israel, Then we need to really need to be watchers. However, in the meantime we really need to be helping each other build and strengthen our faith. Witness to the world, Pray for the World and continue to or escalate the harvesting of Souls for Christ. Now is the time more than ever to find a knee and clasp and hand in prayer. Our nations and governments are going haywire and unless they repent, the next coming of our Lord and Savior may be sooner than anyone ever thought.
Back to the Third Temple though. While the Temple itself is not under construction the building blocks are. Rock to be used as walls have already started being cut. The Red cows have been bought and shipped to the region. Temple Staff are being trained, Staff clothing is being designed almost everything one can do to prepare is under way. That alone is something to really watch.
Israel365news is something to watch, its reputable and reliable. CBN Israel is also a good source of developing news about Israel. FOX news on the other hand is almost worthless! I would also add that communication with the Holy Spirit through prayer is probably the best way to stay informed. Jesus takes care of his people, put your trust in him, he will never lead you astray.
